Actively participating in events on campus is vital to enjoying the college experience, but how are you supposed to know what’s going on?
Fortunately for Pace University students, the school never seems to leave you event-less during this time of year. The school even sponsors the “50 Days and 50 Nights” program here on the Pleasantville campus, which, like the name implies, puts on an event nearly everyday for the first 50 days and 50 nights after September 2nd.
So how are you supposed to find out about all of these events? Well, there are many different ways for students to find out. For those who are social media savvy, you can follow Pace for updates on a number of different sites/ apps.
For those on Instagram, the Pace University Center for Student Development and Campus Activities (SDCA) updates and posts on upcoming events under the username “plv_sdca”. You can also find updates on events on the Pace Residential Life account, which has the username “pacereslife”. For those on Snapchat, the school is on it as well, with the username “Pace University”, which updates you on future events and events while they are happening. Students can also download apps like “OrgSync”, which allows you to select your school and view upcoming events and activities.
Not on social media? You can still stay updated on events! Posters and fliers are posted in entrances of many of the residential halls, as well as in the entrances of many of the academic buildings. In Kessel Student Center there are also a few different bulletin boards on the first and second floors that are updated weekly.
With all of these different ways to stay connected, one thing is for sure- you can never say you had no way of finding out!
